Cyanotypes

CYANOTYPES brings together a wide variety of organisations, stakeholders, and European networks to address the needs and skills gaps in the Cultural & Creative Industries. Based on innovative multidisciplinary approaches, CYANOTYPES tackles the sector’s potential for innovation and competitiveness, which deals as well with challenges presented by the triple transition (social, digital and green).

Through the integration of specific and transversal skillsets, CYANOTYPES will provide context-specific points of entry and respond to disruptive elements into the sector with upskilling and reskilling processes for different stakeholder groups leading to change and innovation in CCI education and training.

DEUS

DeuS, an Erasmus+ VET project led by Matera – Basilicata 2019 Foundation, aims to revolutionise learning across Europe through critical thinking and entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative sector. It fosters participatory, innovative, and cost-effective solutions to local challenges, involving players from Austria, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Slovakia, and the UK.

Central to DeuS is the Open Design School in Matera, Italy, which employs a peer-to-peer, challenge-based approach for professionals from various disciplines to collaborate, share knowledge, and develop real-world design solutions. This methodology extends beyond traditional design thinking by applying and validating solutions in real scenarios, making DeuS a dynamic "think and do tank" for professionals to enhance their skills while tackling societal and economic issues.

Creative Skills Week

Revisit the the Creative Skills Week 2024

Since 2023, the Creative Skills Community, in collaboration with the Creative Pact For Skills Members, meets annually during Creative Skills Week. Following a successful inaugural event in Vienna in 2023, which attracted over 300 attendees, this year's gathering was set to bring together more than 450 creative professionals, intermediaries, and CCI institutions at the

CSW24 Week in Amsterdam was held September 17th to 20th.

The event will featurde a vibrant agenda focused on the latest Skills Action, Policies, and Projects concerning the re- and upskilling of the European Creative workforce. To recap and revisit the CSW24 please visit the programm homepage.

SACCORD

SACCORD - The Skills ACCORD is a European-funded action under the Eu Erasmus plus Forward Looking Project scheme. The aim of SACCORD is twofold: to support the Large Scale Partnership (LSP) for Creative Skills and to foster the creation of Local Ecosystem Partnerships (LEPs). These LEPs will form local partnerships to coordinate re- and upskilling initiatives at the local level, while also supporting the European Skills Agenda with its Pact for Skills. Additionally, SACCORD aims to collect skills data and investigate the implementation of micro-credentials into the CCI ecosystem. Furthermore, SACCORD will host the Creative Skills Week for 2024 and 2025.

It also emphasizes the sharing of innovative learning models and tools across different sectors and beyond, to foster interdisciplinary growth and collaboration. Additionally, the partnership focuses on gathering and disseminating data on skill needs and trends, to better align educational offerings with market demands. Finally, it seeks to maximize funding opportunities to support collaborative, cross-sectoral initiatives aimed at strengthening the creative workforce throughout Europe, while also enhancing the visibility and impact of these efforts.
